Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has produced many studio records. Her music is categorized as folk, alternative and rock but she also draws influences from jazz and hip-hop. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own record label in 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in New York City, York.
