Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen comes from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in films and television shows that include How to Be a Single and Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. She has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. In an advertisement for Shake and Bake public service in 1997, Momsen began to act professionally when she was only three. Momsen's professional career in the industry was put off for three years before she landed the leading role in Misconceptions. Momsen starred also in Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. She auditioned as well for the lead role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, it was given the role to Miley Cyrus.
