Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in a number of Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called This is Tina Time. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her work across Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
